Within the E-Health Services Market , telemedicine holds the largest share, reflecting its role as the most widely adopted e-health service. According to the Wise Guy Reports analysis, the telemedicine segment was valued at USD 18.0 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to USD 46.0 billion by 2035. Telemedicine enables patients to consult with healthcare providers remotely, using video, audio, or text-based platforms. Its growth is driven by the convenience it offers, the expansion of telehealth coverage by insurers, and the increasing acceptance of virtual care by both patients and providers. Telemedicine is particularly valuable for routine checkups, chronic disease management, and mental health services.

While telemedicine leads, remote patient monitoring (RPM) and mobile health apps are the fastest-growing segments. RPM involves the use of digital technologies to collect patient health data outside of traditional clinical settings. This data is transmitted to healthcare providers for monitoring and analysis. RPM is particularly valuable for managing chronic conditions such as heart failure, diabetes, and COPD, as it enables early detection of deterioration and timely intervention. The growing prevalence of chronic diseases and the focus on value-based care are driving adoption of RPM.

Mobile health (mHealth) apps are also experiencing rapid growth. These apps enable patients to track their health, manage medications, access health information, and communicate with providers. The proliferation of smartphones and the increasing health awareness among consumers are driving demand for mHealth apps. Apps for fitness tracking, nutrition, mental health, and chronic disease management are particularly popular. The mHealth segment is expected to continue its rapid growth as consumers become more engaged in their own health management.

Electronic health records (EHRs) represent another significant segment, with consistent growth driven by the digitization of healthcare records and the need for improved care coordination. EHRs enable secure sharing of patient data across different healthcare settings, reducing errors and improving efficiency. The adoption of EHRs has been supported by government incentives and the push for interoperability. The ongoing development of EHR systems and their integration with other e-health tools will continue to drive growth in this segment.
