What I Learned From My WEST-B Practice Tests?

Preparing for the WEST-B Exam taught me that regular practice is more useful when I review every mistake carefully. The Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB) identifies these three areas as the basic skills assessed for teacher preparation program admission.

My first practice sessions helped me understand what I already knew and which skills needed more work. I learned that preparation should not focus on only one subject. Reading required careful attention to passages, writing required strong language and revision skills, and mathematics required accurate problem solving.
