The Ethylene is a fundamental petrochemical and one of the most widely produced organic compounds in the world, serving as a cornerstone building block for a diverse range of chemical products and industrial materials. A colorless gas with a faint sweet odor, ethylene is highly flammable and classified as an unsaturated hydrocarbon belonging to the alkene family, characterized by a double bond between two carbon atoms.
