Italy holds a prominent position in Europe’s synthetic rubber market, supported by its strong automotive, industrial, and manufacturing base. Synthetic rubber, produced mainly from petrochemical feedstocks such as styrene, butadiene, and isoprene, is widely used in tires, footwear, adhesives, industrial goods, and construction materials.
