Pokepath TD is a fan-created tower defense game inspired by Pokémon and combining the elements of tower defense games and Pokémon collecting, leveling, and evolving. Instead of directing a Pokémon in a fight with an opponent, in this game, one should compose a team of Pokémon to defend the route against enemy Pokémon.

The main task in Pokepath TD is rather simple – to prevent the enemy Pokémon from moving along the route successfully. In order to do this, one should use Pokémon as defenders and distribute them around the route for the purpose of attacking the enemies while they move. Different Pokémon have different attributes and abilities, which makes the choice of defenders and their location crucial.

A more complicated aspect of Pokepath TD occurs in waves when enemies may have various characteristics. Among those are shields, regenerations, invisibility, resistance to specific abilities, and many others. Because of this, the selection of Pokémon based on their damage alone is not always the best decision. The composition of the Pokémon should be rather balanced and efficient.
